My little shih tzu that weights 5lbs finally comes through this doggie door. Have had a doggie dog for about 3 years and she would never use it, always had to open the door, but with this particular doggie door she actually goes out and comes in it all the time! Love it.

Simple basic design that got the job done.

In my situation, I wasn't mounting it in a door, but making a spot in my screened in porch for my ChiWeenie to go out. It is of rather simple design. A sandwich of the two sides with the flap attached to the outside half. I made a small frame of 1x2s and cut the screen to fit. My dog took to it right away.
