- A: If the switch lights up when turned on then goes out but the LED lights works fine, it is very likely the switch’s light got burnt but since it is a parallel circuit, the switch is still able to control the LED lights even the switch’s light got burnt. We suggest to use Traveller’s wiring harness SKU# 1169555 which has a built -in fuse to protect the circuit, and it is compatible with the Traveller stainless light switch2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Reference.... Traveller Lighted LED Switch #1168854. I assume...... Red is power into switch...... Black is ground for LED light in switch....... WHAT IS BLUE WIRE FOR? I assume "signal cable" (blue) is for the pod lights I am wiring this switch to?

Q: I bought this switch for my golf cart...so the hot and neutral come in from the battery to the switch...so the blue is connected to the neutral or positive on the light?

- A: the blue wire on switch is connected to the positive(should be red wire) on the light, the black wire(negative) on the light should be connected with negative polarity on battery. The red wire on switch should be connected with positive polarity on battery, and black wire is to connect with negative polarity.5 years agoHelpful?

Great light switch, very rugged and stylish. I just wish they made it in a higher capacity version, like a 20amp and 30amp version for bigger light bars and accessories.
