They just don't make things like they used to. Within one year the lenses turn yellow as can be because it's unprotected plastic, and the suns UV rays bakes them. Second year they'll start to fill with water until the insides corrode and the light stops working. I've got four of these on my F250 as reverse lights for plowing. If you want to replace them every two years go for it. I will say they're very bright, I just wish they lasted longer. I went ahead and bought some more to replace them, only because I don't feel like rewiring the connections on my truck. That's what they want anyways.

Great on a tractor

I bought 2 of these a little over a year ago for my Dad and installed on top of his tractor cab. His old cab flood lights didnt work anymore. The performance of just 2 of these lights is incredible and the cost is reasonable.

Rugged construction, good light output.

I needed a slim application to fit on the bumper in space available. Light weight, rugged aluminum body, and sturdy mount resist abuse by the road washboard. my primary interest was to flood the area in front of me, including ditches, while traveling country roads, for better advance warning of deer, etc. This it does well. Also happy to find a quality water tight connector included.
