Strong mower

Let me tell you this equipment can cut down some tall thick bush. I had almost 4 feet tall brush to cut through and this machine had no problems. I'll admit I had to go slow over some areas because it was very dense but once I went made the first pass the second pass was no problem.

Bought this mower thinking that a Toro would be the best choice as they have been a long standing manufacturer that’s still in the USA. Couldn’t have been more wrong in my life. Brought this mower home, admired it for a couple of days, then decided it was time to get it dirty and mow my lawn for the first time with it. Didn’t even make it around my yard and the right control lever broke loose from the control rods and I couldn’t stop the mower until it got stuck in the ditch along the road. Never expected the first dirt on the mower being from towing it out and back to the garage. After inspection and determining the cause to be poor quality design (weak materials used and flimsy attachment), I was glad that I could return it for a full refund at the Tractor Supply Store where I purchased it from. This was the first and it will be the last Toro I purchase. I am very thankful to the store manager for the way he handled my issue and I am very happy with the replacement mower that the manager suggested (different brand) as well.

Bad in reliability

Bought this mower new 7-2-25 and have had it at the service shop twice now. Nice cut, ride and easily driven but not reliable at all. Been through 3 belts and the belt tensioner and spring has been replaced. Maybe we have a lemon, not sure, but I woukd not buy another one for that reason. Taking it back and forth to get repaired, letting the yard grow for weeks at a time, not something I want to do.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This mower was the best buy for having to do 5 acres. No problems except the seat was missing a locking screw but other than that. I give this Toro praise!

Great product, don’t ship.

Great product, limited shipping. If you live in more rural areas make sure trucks pass through frequently or you have a buddy with a trailer. Tractor Supply corporate will farm it out to roadie and it’s kind of an awful nightmare. My local store in Fordyce was able to make it a pretty smooth experience and one of the guys working there helped me out with a truck. We had to cancel the order online because it was three weeks with no delivery and they had one so I went through them. Solid mower though.
