The Z3 has serviceable 2800 transmissions. The Kawasaki engine has plenty enough power to mow through high grass with the 54inch deck that I opted for. If a normal zero turn gives you problems or feels a little unsafe, then the steering wheel design is the way to go. No more sliding. The mower feels planted and youre in complete control. It's a great design. My only complaints are no fuel gauge but you can raise the seat and see how much fuel is in the tank. It holds 3.5 gallons. It good on fuel consumption. I fill it up and only use about half a tank while mowing 2 1/2 acres of flat to some rather steep banks. My other complaint is the ride. While the seat is comfortable and HAS arm rests. My yard is bumpy in spots so the springs under the seat aren't quite up to the task. Many people are upgrading the seat springs to something a little beefier. This may not be a problem for some people though. I'm 6' 1" and 220 lbs. So if youre a smaller build, a little lighter or have a smoother or a yard thats level or not so bumpy you'll most likely be fine IMO. The mower has 3yr unlimited hours warranty as standard but extended warranties are available. My unit has a hour meter. Im hopeful to see many, many hours on it before I need a new mower with the proper maintenance and regular upkeep. Im extremely happy with my purchase

Pros: Very fun, handles dangerous inclines with ease. Can track through light mud. Handles like a drone on wheels, comfortable, runs smooth, turns on a dime, my lawn has never looked better. Cons: No fuel gauge. When refueling, very difficult to know when gas tank is full, even with the seat up. This leads to overflow of gas. Yes, I paid attention every time. Likewise, it also difficult to know when gas is almost empty. Cup holder section, there is no cover to keep your items from getting dusty, which is basically standard across all brands and models. That's all I can really think of for right meow.

AFTER 1.5 HRS, OF GRASS MOWING , BRAND NEW ,WITH SO CALLED SMART STEERING WHEEL Z354S, ULTIMA, THE FRONT WHEELS STOPPED TURNING IN THE SAME DIRECTION. WHAT TO DO NOW? PLEASE ADSE! TY

Just bought a Z3 54S. The thought of spending the amount of money on a riding lawn mower drove me crazy. I only have two acres, but it’s a rough, hilly terrain. I had already ruined two riding lawn mowers and I was in a pickle. I researched and visited dealers looking at these zero turn mowers. I finally bit it and purchased the mower. My first time mowing was unbelievable. I could sit here and write how well of a machine it is, and it is. My experience with the ride, the ability of it and quickness to mow my property is well worth the money. The machine is fantastic. The dealer was great and honest. So far, I am a kid in a candy store. One other thing. After mowing, I am now able to walk in a straight position right away. That’s a good thing. Do your research. I don’t think you will be let down.
