- A: Hi, Our shade sails are designed for shade, they are not waterproof. A light rain will sit on top but anything heavier will fall through. We strongly recommend taking down one's shade sail during high winds, harsh weather and over the winter to prevent any unnecessary damage.4 years agoHelpful?

They do not include surface securing hardware or the wood beams, and the beauty of our systems is that it allows any kind of lumber that will fit the brackets to be used.5 years agoHelpful?

Beautiful Pergola. Straight forward set up. But required customization to fit under out roof. My only negative is that the kit should have more screws for assembly.
