Perfect replacement

For the confused and disappointed. This switch is a replacement for the original Massey Ferguson switch. I use it on a 1956 TO35. B=Battery; I=Ignition, L=Lights. 1st position is Off; 2nd position is Ignition on; 3rd position is Ignition on and Lights on; 4th position is Ignition off Lights on. This ignition switch does not operate the engine starter, so is not spring loaded. There is a spring loaded starter button on the left side of the dash which engages the starter if Ignition is on.
Yes, I recommend this product.

No explanation of electrical operation on the website, no wiring diagram with the hardware. A four position maintained switch for an ignition circuit is very puzzling to me and the switch won't work properly for our tractor. Why doesn't it spring back from position three (crank) to position two when released and what is position four intended to accomplish on a device with three terminals. What do terminal designations of "B", "I" and "L" denote? B and I could make sense if the switch worked as expected, but what is L?
