Rated 1 out of 5 by from Maybe I got a bad one Put this on my ‘52 Case VAC that has a 6 volt electrical system. This switch lasted about 3 years. After that it started to fail and eventually just shorted out directly to ground. Took it apart and the contacts seemed awfully thin and were badly pitted. One contact had holes burned through it. I don’t think it is made to handle the higher amps that go though a 6 volt starter.
