Shorted to ground

Brand new out of the package two of the terminals were shorted to ground. Didn’t discover that until I blew six fuses trying to diagnose what part of my wiring was incorrect. Turned out it was just the switch and my wiring was fine

Good quality, works in a Chevy 3100 pickup.

Good product. It is pretty much a drop in replacement for my Chevy 3100 pickup, from the dash it even looks the same. The fuse it came with burned out immediately when I illumined my highbeams. Replaced with a 20amp fuse like the original switch and now it runs great. I was able to unscrew the knob, then install the original knob from my old switch, so as to maintain original appearance. This switch has very positive detents on it unlike my old worn out switch. Great product, saved me from waiting a week for a mail order switch to come by mail order catalog.
