Q: Inlet pipe outside diameter

  • A: Hi, Here is the information we received back from our vendor- This muffler’s inlet pipe has a flared design to mate with the flare on the exhaust manifold. After the flare the pipe is 1-1/2 inches in diameter.

Correct size and fit for our original 1 family owned 1951 Ford 8n. Had to do a little bending to make the flare bacl to correct as there was no packaging-only shipping lable and some plastic wrap. Shipping took 4 days longer than indicated but was over labor day weekend....
