Q: What is the “natural flavor” in this food?
6 months ago- A: Hello, thanks for your question. Natural flavor is an ingredient added for enhanced palatability and an extra-tasty meaty flavor in your pet's food. It's derived from chicken and does not contain MSG. This ingredient is developed through a process that reduces the size of the protein molecules and is less likely to trigger allergies in pets.6 months agoHelpful?

Q: I'm looking for allergy relief, ear infections, and digestion support. Will this be a good choice?
2 years ago- A: Hi, Here is the information we received from the vendor- "Ancient Stream should work well if the dog’s condition is a simple food allergy. Dogs are usually allergic to the protein source. Ancient Stream has salmon, which is less common than other formulations with chicken, lamb or beef. Most dogs haven’t been exposed to salmon so haven’t already reacted to it. Both ear infections, specifically yeast, and scratching/biting themselves are typical with food allergies. GI upset can also be another sign. If this dog continues to show signs, the next choice would be Special CARE Sensitive Skin. It also has salmon as the protein source, but the salmon is hydrolyzed. This means that even if a dog is allergic to salmon, they won’t react with allergy signs, because their body doesn’t recognize the salmon since the protein bonds are broken when the salmon is hydrolyzed."2 years agoHelpful?
