After exhaustive investigations, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not received sufficient data to establish a causal relationship between diet - including Taste of the Wild - and DCM in dogs. As they note, it is a complex issue with numerous factors to consider, such as breeds that have a genetic predisposition for developing DCM.
