I have used Sure Jell for over 40 years and have always had excellent results. It's been my observation that many of the failures in jam and jelly making come from not really understanding what a "full, rolling boil" is. A deep pot, a long handled wooden spoon and plenty of room for the boil, it should be "alarming" when it gets up there! Then start counting your time. I've even seen so-called experts videos where they get this wrong! I never have a failure. Another huge mistake is cutting down sugar or substituting honey, etc. This is science, folks, no substitutions! If you want to use less sugar, use the low sugar pectin!
