Q: Your description says seals up to 18 months. I am looking for a more long term solution for dry goods used with oxygen obsorbers. Will this work and stayed with the oxygen absorbers? Thank you

- A: Hi Rogurt, thank you for reaching out! Our jars and lids have been tested for Water Bath Canning and Pressure Canning following tested recipes and current guidelines for home canning. The SureTight™ Lids feature twice the tinplate coating on the underside of the lid, providing additional rust resistance for up to 18 months. If you have followed a tested home canning recipe and your jars are sealed, the lids will not unseal after 18 months. We recommend consuming home canned products within 12-18 months for the highest quality product. After 12 months, the products begin to lose their nutritional value, color, flavor and texture. If you are using a vacuum sealer and/or oxygen absorbers with our products, we would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer of those products for guidance regarding their use.4 years agoHelpful?
