Silver Sulfadiazine Cream is an antibiotic used to treat burns, promoting healing, alleviating itching, and preventing infection. It effectively targets both Staphylococcus and E. coli, helping to prevent further complications. Silver sulfadiazine burn cream is safe to use on both cats and dogs as needed and is prescription only. Sold in 50g tubes. How it Works
Scientists don't fully understand how Silver Sulfadiazine works, but it is shown to have broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties. Staph and E. coli are two types of bacteria that Silver Sulfadiazine fights. It prevents infections when burns penetrate the skin. The moisture in this cream offers relief from itchiness associated with healing.
