Scarlex's formula is a soothing, slow drying anti-septic dressing for minor surface lesions, surface wounds, cuts, burns and superficial dermatitis. Product contains scarlet oil and p chloro-m-xylenol, which is a powerful germicide. Formula is non-irritating. Helps relieve itching and aids in rapid healing.DANGER! EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. Do not spray near sparks, heat or open flames. Vapors will accumulate readily and may ignite explosively. Keep area ventilated during use and until all vapors are gone. DO NOT SMOKE - Extinguish all sources of ignition.

My dog scratched herself real bad. Put scarlex on it and she left it alone and now it’s all healed

A good topical treatment

I have used this many times over the years and found it will clear up many mild skin issues. It will also help regrow hair in my experience on some things. The only downfall is it is red (Scarlett oil based) which can shock non horse people but it is a great product so dont let that keep you away! I always keep a can around just in case of a scrape or a skin issue.
