Put a stop to Southern weeds with Scotts WeedEx Southern. This lawn weed killer has the strength to take on tough weeds like dollarweed and clover. It controls over 25 listed weeds, including dollarweed, clover, dandelion, chickweed, and oxalis. Apply Scotts WeedEx Southern when grass and weeds are actively growing. Use in the fall to control winter weeds such as henbit, rabbit-tobacco, and evening primrose. Do not apply during winter dormancy period - wait until after the third mowing of the season. We recommend using a Scotts spreader to apply this product. for Scotts broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 5. for Scotts drop spreaders, use a setting of 11 1/2. Do not apply with a hand-held spreader. This product must be watered in immediately after application. Scotts WeedEx Southern is only for use on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Carpetgrass. One 12.5 lb. bag of Scotts WeedEx Southern covers 4,000 sq. ft.

I liked the ease of applying the product!

I had my husband’s help in figuring out how much to use of the Scott’s WeedEx -Southern weed control with their app. He set our handheld spreader to 2, and my adult son helped me with the pictures. I had walked around the yard quite easy using the spreader, but it also spreader weed control into areas that we have planned to put mulch in that we also had weeds in. ( Maybe it will help the non-grassy areas with weed control, too?) We do have a couple of areas in the area between the sidewalk and the street and to the side of the driveway near my car that I did not treat, due to that the grass hasn’t quite grown back very well yet, post-having had fungus and chinch bugs from having a lawn cutting service do our lawn last year. I can’t quite tell effectiveness yet on the lawn, since I did apply it recently.

No difference

The packaging is nice and light. I let a month go by to see if I see any difference and also wanted to see if the random rainy days would play a part. I honestly didn’t see a major difference. We do have someone cut our yard every week so I don’t know if that had a huge role. I also placed some in my flower beds and it didn’t work there at all. Weeds were growing out quicker. I don’t really know if I noticed a major difference.

This weed killer works great it spreads and covers well with no strong smell it will relieve your yard from all of those unpleasant weeds and allow your grass to grow as it should

This product was easy to use. I used it on my back flower bed. I haven’t noticed a difference but it seems to take time for noticeable results. We’ll see how it looks in about 8 weeks. I believe I will have to reapply as well. So far I’m not impressed but I will give it time.
