With this 3-in-1 solution, get up to a 50% thicker lawn with just one application (subject to proper care)! Thick'R Lawn contains soil improver for enhanced root development, seed to fill gaps with new grass and fertilizer to feed new grass and thicken and green existing turf. This product is intended for use on an entire lawn and can be applied easily with a Scotts spreader. Results may vary based on current condition of lawn. The grass seed requires full sun and part shade to grow.

Neighbor had a French drain put in and our yards were pretty beat up. This was super easy to use and apply. Instructions were clear. Overall easy product that does a good job.

Easy to use, helps grass regrow.

This turf builder was easy to use due to the smaller size bag. It made lawn maintenance much easier since my wrists have become weaker with age. This also helps with safety issues due to said weakness. As far as the efficacy of the product, I’d say it worked pretty well! I used it where my dog thinks he MUST pee, and it helped the grass regrow! No joke!

Good but not positive on results

Hard to give an honest review when I got the product mid summer and that’s a terrible time to lay grass seed in NJ. I applied it to a small section and I did see some growth but hard to say how much when it’s not the right time.

The seed germinates best when temperatures are consistently in the 65-80°F range. Cool or fluctuating nighttime temperatures will slow germination. This product is formulated for overseeding an existing thinned lawn. It is not recommended for bare patches or planting a new lawn. This worked so well that it doesn't even look like the same spot in the pictures. It filled in the bare areas and thickened the areas around the bare spots.
