This particular bird feeder has lasted longer than all the others we have purchased in the past, even more expensive ones. It’s easy to fill and seems to serve well birds and squirrels!

This is my third bird feeder like this. My favorite. It is Well constructed, easy to fill and holds s lot of seed. It is priced fairly.

Nice bird feeder, however it was not assembled correctly. I bought it today and filled it half way up, and hung it. About a minute later it dropped on to my paved back porch, dumping most of the seed. On checking the feeder, I found that the cable crimped loop had just come apart. Dropping the bird feeder. Ended up putting a new crimpable sleeve on the cable. Didn’t find any real damage to the feeder, since it appears to be galvanized metal. At least it’s tough, durable. Note to self: still need to check other people’s work

We love that this feeder holds so much seed, which means we don't have to fill it as often. It feels to be well made, but we drilled a few more holes in the bottom so that water can drain out more easily. Some of the edges of the feeder are sharp. Also, we think the birds have a hard time getting into the feeder holes to get more seed, so we usually go out and pick the seed out of the holes so it flows more easily. Sometimes, larger seeds and fruit pieces block the holes.
