- A: Hi, No, you cannot cut Quick Dam Portable Flexible Water Dams. Cutting the bags will cause the inner absorbent core to fall out, rendering the product ineffective. The absorbent core is what swells and absorbs water, and cutting it will disrupt this process.a year agoHelpful?
