Quick Dam flood bags activate, absorb and expand upon contact with water completely, eliminating the need for sand. Simply lay these flood bags in place and let the water do the rest. Pre-activation by wetting bags is recommended before placing in areas of running water. Pre-activation not necessary in still water. Do not use with salt water.
