The DEWALT 20V Cordless Dry Hand Vacuum (Tool only) is a jobsite cleaning solution that provides users with powerful performance (46 CFM) to pick up common jobsite debris ranging from drywall, dust, to small screws and nails. This versatile vacuum comes with 6 different cleaning attachment accessories to tackle any cleaning job from floor level to overhead. The hand vacuum can be used to handle smaller messes or used in combination with the extension tube and floor accessory to clean up floor areas. A bright LED light illuminates the darkest areas. A HEPA Filter allows for clean efficient cleanup of fine dust and drywall and follows OSHA Table 1 Compliance under housekeeping rules. It comes fully equipped with an extension tube, floor nozzle, flexible hose, crevice nozzle, gulper brush, round brush, belt hook, accessory holder, and HEPA filter.

Powerful little vacuum that gets used all the time

I bought this handheld vacuum for my wife, but I probably use it more than she does. It has a lot more power than I expected for a compact vacuum, and the attachments make it useful for quick cleanups around the house, vehicles, and small messes. It is easy to grab, easy to use, and has become one of those tools we reach for often. Very happy with it.

I purchased this cordless vac for clean ups in my shop. I have other vacuums, but this cordless vac works great to clean up messes on the shop bench and even better with the included attachments to clean up messes on the shop floor. I highly recommend this DeWalt cordless vac.

Powerful enough to be actually useful. The only downside is the smallish dust container, but that will be true of any vac of this style.

Just what I needed

I just bought this sweeper a few days ago to replace the horrible rigid vacuum I bought two years ago. I have had primarily Dewalt construction/wood working tools for the past 30 years. I purchased the rigid vacuum, batteries, and charger because of a great review and demonstration I saw on YouTube. I would say rigid had changed their standards during the time of my purchase.
Out of the box, I put on the battery and began cleaning. Right from the beginning until the end the suction was powerful and consistent. When it came time to empty it I found the hepa filter was difficult to clean; like other reviews have said it needs pre-filter. I knew I would have to buy one but I couldn’t without seeing it for myself.
Next are the attachments. The friction fit between the hose and attachments doesn’t stay locked, maybe it’s the bevel on the hose end; this should have been remedied Default. Lastly is the choice in attachments. I think the wider brush should be a simple attachment without the bristles for use on smooth work benches and automotive carpet.
I like this vacuum and I do recommend it. I Rate it 4.7out of 5 because of the problems I mentioned.
Note to Dewalt: high end companies work these things out before they are released and sold. Please don’t go down the Rigid path .
