The Triple Crown Safe Starch Horse Grass Hay Forage is a mixture of orchard and timothy hays that provide horses with their entire diet; forage, as well as vitamins and minerals. Featuring Triple Crown's unique EquiMix technology, the horse hay forage is specially selected and low NSC grass hay forage that is molasses and grain-free, and provides 6% fat. This horse hay is ideal for mature, metabolic and underweight horses. It helps support hay shortages, poor teeth and poor hay quality. Available as a 40 lb. bag.

I put a couple handfuls at the bottom of my equines’ feed buckets. Then when I add supplements & soaked beet pulp, feed, etc.
I know everything gets eaten. Plus the bowl bottom doesn’t get yucky. With the Safe Starch, bowls are licked clean.

Horse loves it. I’m relieved my elderly guy won’t choke. He’d started losing weight and became malnourished. Nutritional value as well as brand history was the reason the vet selected this brand/product. Able to increase amount in Winter and/or with feed as needed. The only negative feedback I have is regarding the interruptions on my auto ship orders. System stopped filling from warehouse via FedEx and now ships from local store using Roadie. Orders have been cancelled and significantly delayed during cold winter months. I should not have to monitor an auto ship order, call the local store, time for them to call Roadie (like Door Dash) to obtain my last four bags of this product. It’s an IT issue within TSC corporate - the previous 20 + months when the orders came via FedEx there was never an issue - on time - never damaged - regular as expected!
Yes, I recommend this product.
