My calves love this product! They are growing very well and are as healthy as can be. Great to give with calves that are still being bottle fed as well.

Difficult to get them started.

Been hand feeding this to my calves after bottles. They nibbled a little when I put it in their mouths, basically force feeding them, but didn't eat it on their own. I was getting concerned and bought a different brand, more of a sweet feed. Put a handful in their mouths, and the pan was empty by morning. Eating the new product on their own in 12 hours, after over a week trying with the Producer's Pride. Will try it later to use it up, or mix it to get it gone.

Purchased Producer's Pride Calf Starter last year for a calf whose mother wasn't providing enough milk. This year we repurchased the calf starter for an orphaned calf. Producer's Pride Calf Starter gave both calves what they needed at a critical time in their lives.
