Feed at the rate of 2 lbs per 100 lbs of bodyweight to provide 22.7 mg Decoquinate per 100 pounds of body weight (0.5 mg/kg) per day. Feed at least 28 days during period of exposure to coccidiosis or when it is likely to be a hazard.
When making a ration change, allow 7-10 days for animals to adjust to the new ration.

Q: How long before shows should they be started on this feed?
2 years ago- A: This feed is designed for show cattle under 900 pounds, but may be fed to cattle of any age or weight with proper management. Developing show cattle should eat approximately 2.5-3% of body weight and should be fed hay free-choice. Frame, genetics and management will determine finishing period.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Is this feed okay for a cow to be on for life if they aren't being shown? We're currently feeding this to all of our cows (they are not show cows though) and have started seeing bloat and GI issues in our older cows (8yrs+).

5 years ago- A: Amount depends on breed, age & if they need to loose or gain weight. Show cattle need feed twice a day & access to hay and water all the time. As far as eating them, The meat will have a lot of marbling and a good rim of fat compared to grass feed cattle.5 years agoHelpful?

Q: If a horse gets into it will it hurt them?
9 years ago- A: This product is a DX medicated HSC beef product. The medication is not toxic to horses. However the amount of product consumed could potentially be an issue in resulting colic. If the product is digested you should contact your veterinarian immediately and keep a close eye on the horse for the next 24-48 hours.9 years agoHelpful?
