The SmartKey fits most collar ID tags and uses RFID technology to send a signal that locks and unlocks the door flap when it senses your pet. You can add up to 5 pets to your SmartDoor. Weak link

I love the way this door works but the but the weak link for the is system is the case for the battery. I am purchasing a new one because the thin plastic that holds the battery broke causing my dog to be stuck outside all day. Not good.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Idea - Cannot get new key programmed to door

The new Door key arrived today and I followed the instructions for programming but it's not working. I have an existing one that works so I swapped batteries. Battery works fine. Just won't program

We ordered 3 and have used them and seem to work well. It was easy to order and program each one also. It was nice that each fob came with a battery too. Thank you!

2024 and still have not made a smaller key fob
a year ago
I have a cat and this dangling key fob isn’t cutting it. Can you make at least an attachment so the key does not hang. You have other designs that work so well. Maybe updating this in 2024 will sell you more products. My cat is out in the woods and I would not like to lose the key fob because it gets stuck out in the brushes somewhere.
