The 4 in. Round Drain Grate, also known as a drain cover, has an open surface area of 3.9 sq. in. and a flow rate of 12 GPM. Connects to 4 or 3 in. corrugated or solid pipe & fittings for a soil-tight fit. The pipe grate is ADA Compliant and heel-proof. Built to stand up to the elements, it's made of polyethylene, a type of plastic, using a combination of virgin and recycled content treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking from the sun. As part of a complete drainage system, the grate blocks leaves and debris as it drains water entering drain pipes. The pipes carry the water to a discharge point downstream such as a pop-up emitter, or to percolate into the ground with a dry well.
