Q: Do you make a feed that is Soy Free AND Corn Free? I don't really understand why corn and soy both continue to be used in chicken feed- except that they are cheap fillers--neither are good for them or people consuming their eggs.

1 Answer
  • A: Thank you for your inquiry. Corn is used as the main grain poultry feeds because it is highly digestible and a good source of dietary energy. We do not offer a corn and soy free diet for poultry.

They eat it better than the regular layer.

They still take the starter grower away from the peeps when I have them. They like starter grower better but most of them will not take in sufficient oyster shell to keep shells strong. So Hearty Hen & also the Feather Fixer seems to suite my big Marans, Brahmas & Jersey Giants.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Make the switch, you won’t regret it!

We recently switched our girls to this feed and are very happy with it! I did my research and felt it was a great option compared to our prior feed. When I opened the bag I knew I made the right choice. It smelled SO good! And it actually smells like the ingredients which immediately made me feel good about my decision. We have two girls that just started laying and I’m thrilled with how their first eggs look and the color of their yolks. They also seem to be eating a bit more which I feel is a good thing.

Yes, I recommend this product.
