- A: Hi Rsingo, Good question to ask... once gas pressure is reduced by one regulator it is good to go. Further reduction will create "lean" burn. Grills, heaters and other gas applications are designed to work within windows of gas pressure usually below optimum of 11WC. The quick connect typically is sold with a regulator. It can be used if taken off for a regulated gas pressure from an RV.It is not advisable to have two regulators in line. Hope this answers your question. Rich Mr Heater8 years agoHelpful?

My RV has a quick connect form the propane tank. There are many devices designed to use 1 lb disposable cylinders. This hose gives me access to use those devices without needing disposable cylinders. It also has a reasonable price.

Great price for essential hose

This hose is the only hose that will work on a Mr. Heater Big Buddy if you want to connect the heater to your home's propane piping. The quick disconnect is for the heater side. I added a separate male quick connect to the supply side and installed two Mr. Heater valve/QC fittings - one in the garage and one in the shop so I can move the heater between the two. Also, don't need the filter with this hose. Only downside - it took a lot of research and a wrong hose purchase to figure all this out.
