When planting in a raised bed, fill with Miracle-Gro Organic Raised Bed & Garden Soil then plant new seeds or plants. When planting in ground, thoroughly mix in 3 inches of Miracle-Gro Organic Raised Bed & Garden Soil for every 6 inches of native soil then plant new seeds or plants. Always water thoroughly immediately after planting.     A: Hello. The pH of Miracle-Gro Organic Raised Bed & Garden Soil is between 6.0 - 6.5. However, the pH will change as soon as it is used. The types of plants used and the type of water used (city water, rainwater, well water), will all change the pH as soon as they contact our product.

If you are just filling in spots or reseeding t Scott’s will work. My grass in my backyard was discolored and just wasn’t growing like the rest of the areas. After using this to fill in some discolored spots the grass finally started to grow and look so much better.

Good Organic soil to try in gardens

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. The Miracle-Gro Organic Raised Bed & Garden Soil - 1 cubic foot is a versatile soil we used in one of our garden beds. Out of the bag the soil is visibly good quality, with no rocks, plastics, or foreign inclusions. The soil wasn't wet or moist, but it also wasn't dry. It reminded me of running fingers through clean hair. The soil wasn't hard-clumped, just needed a little aeration. The soil together is heavy, but dispersed it's not compact. The soil doesn't have perlite or peat but does say it had fertilizers that feed plants for up to 2 months. Upcycled green waste is a plus. I didn't see any worms or casings. The biggest complaint is the amount of sticks and twigs in what should be dirt and soil.
