Not great, but not bad
I purchased this item on sale for $45, and for that price I’m happy with it but for the full price of $100 I would’ve recommend purchasing lumber and building it yourself if you have the skill. The instructions are not well written. The fasteners are mediocre. This was my first time working with Chinese fir wood & I’m excited to see how long it lasts but I don’t have very high expectations because the wood is very lightweight and the frame is small. I’m especially concerned about it blowing over with strong winds but I haven’t put soil in it yet so I won’t criticize the specs just yet. The drainage holes are larger than I’d like them to be and they’re right above the horizontal bracing, which might not be an issue if this is truly a rot resistant wood like Cedar. It was aesthetically pleasing once assembled but I’m all about functionality so only time will tell if I regret this purchase. My overall advice to other consumers would be to go on Facebook marketplace and buy one pre-built for a few more dollars unless you’re skilled at building and assembly or you can catch this thing on sale. My wife would have never gotten this thing put together and she’s pretty competent. It’s really just a shame things aren’t as well made as they used to be.

Poor quality planter
The wood is in very poor condition
I don’t believe it is even cedar it came very heavily stained and vanished.
Some spots where they missed you can see the poor white wood they are trying to hide.
TSC should find a better supplier and quality if they want to keep selling planters to customers.
It was easy to assemble not sure how long it will last maybe one growing season.
The drain holes are too big it would have been better to have six smaller holes per box than the two large holes.
No, I do not recommend this product.
