Miracle-Gro Garden Soil All Purpose feeds plants for up to 3 months and improves existing soil to build strong roots. Use with your outdoor in-ground plants, including flowers, annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs. To apply, spread 2-3 inches of soil in your garden bed or other in-ground area. Mix into the top 6-8 inches of native soil. Dig a hole and plant your new plants. When planting individual plants, dig hole 2x as wide as the container or root ball, and blend a 50:50 mix of garden soil and native soil. To amend garden beds, apply a 3-inch layer of garden soil and work into the top 6 inches of soil. The pallet contains 85 bags of Miracle-Gro Garden Soil All Purpose; each 0.75 cu. ft. bag covers approximately 3-4 sq. ft. (depending on the depth of soil applied) *Vs. unfed plants

Dumpster dirt

I bought this product and was so excited to finally be able to have some great soil to use for my garden. I was shocked to find so much junk (glass, metal, plastic and unknown) mixed in. It was really nerve wracking to have to watch out that what I was holding wasn’t going to hurt me as some pieces were sharp. Thanks for taking the relaxation out of gardening!

Plastic glass and string in the dirt

I would give zero Stars if I could looks like they got this dirt out of a landfill spent 30 minutes pulling plastic hard plastic and glass and string out of it!! Very poor quality!

Waste of Money

I bought a number of bags nearly three months ago to top off a large raised bed. Most of the seeds and starter plants have not done well. In fact, the 'soil' appears more like bark mulch than rich soil. Few seeds have germinated, Leaves have yellowed and dropped, growth has been incredibly slow, and production appears to be sparse compared to the previous years. On the contrary, plants I bought and planted in an earth box with old soil are doing far better; they are healthy and already producing peppers and tomatoes. I am very disappointed and will not spend this type of money again.
