Good Tank

This tank is a good size for applications that use a lot of propane. It is the largest tank that I have found that a person can load and unload without a dolly. The price is about the same as many other stores, but TS actually keeps these tanks in stock!

Couldn't fill

I bought two of these today and immediately went to fill them up. They were vented, or purged (duh!!) and would not fill up. One took just over 2 gallons and the other took less than 1. Exchanged them both for a 100 pounder and that filled fine. American Made so hopefully they figure something out as far as the valve problem. Tractor Supply again was more than helpful, no issue exchanging them etc.

The tank did not accept the full amount of propane it advertised. Already has rust coming through paint. Tractor Supply people were great though

Won't take much propane

40 lb tank should take 9.5 gallon of propane. I don't think they are even purged and tractor supply does not purge them. I was in the process of getting 2 tanks and propane fill and both took less than 15 gallons of propane. The man said it won't take no more, so if I'm paying for 2 40 lbs tanks they should take at least 18 gallons. So I'm loosing another 20 lbs tank there. For this price total garbage.
