Excellent to light duty fencing

I bought these posts to raise the height of the fencing around my 100' x 200' backyard. About 20 years ago I had fenced the yard with much shorter light duty fence posts and fencing to keep small dogs contained. They worked great and after 20 years they are still in excellent condition with no rust at all. I got a new dog who is taller and can jump at least 3.5 ft. So I needed something higher to let him run safely outdoors. Since the first posts worked so well and lasted so long, I wanted the same thing only taller. These posts were everything I hoped they'd be. They were easy to pound into the ground and are quite strong and sturdy. Easy to attach wire fencing to and blend in to scenery. I highly recommend them for light duty needs.

easily installed but didn't hold up

I bought 33 of these for three 100' sections of plastic snow fencing. Sadly with the high winds many bent over, some 90* flat to the ground, some actually broke off at ground level from the constant whipping back and forth. If using to fence where there isn't a chance of high winds, no problem but for my use I need T posts.
