  • Excellent choice for supporting lightweight fencing up to 36 in. in height
  • Equipped with an anchor plate for extra support in the ground

Q: Should the plate near the bottom be in the ground? If so, a 4' post would become a 3 ft fence?

A: Hi Neighbor- Yes, the anchor plate should be driven into the ground for extra support. Because the post should be driven 12 inches deep, a 4-foot post will result in a 3-foot (36-inch) high fence.

Okay, if you never move them

These do the job, but about half of mine bent (badly) when I pulled them. If you will not need to reuse them, these are great and worth the savings over the heavier variety. If you think you might need to reuse them at some point, the price difference is not large to get these.
