Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hard to beat for the Price Worked perfect for a 1 acre 3-D Deer fence (2 strands inside and 1 strand outside). I did break one of the brackets off for pushing into the ground. However, for the price I wasn't too upset about it. I can still use it by just pushing down/hammering the top. You won't regret purchasing these, especially for a temporary fence.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Temporary poles Just was I needed for temporary fence around arena to keep horses out. Works well. Just put up some white hot wire tape on top Have hot wire elsewhere on property so horses respect it. Around arena not hot but horses haven’t bothered it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have been using these for 6 years, they last 2-3 I've been using these for a number of years for electric pasture fencing for cows. They don't bend or wilt in the hot Georgia sun. Sturdy metal point stays in the ground very well, but the point will bend if a cow leans on it (but that's what the electricity is for). The clips will snap when stressed, but I've learned to feed the wire into the clip by pulling the wire down, and also exit the clip by doubling the wire over and pulling down again. That keeps the clips intact. Begin to replace after 2-3 years. Also using these in our tomato garden, five of them will hold up 3 rebar grids for tomatoes to grow into.

So these would work well for putting together a portable horse corral?

Asked by: Tanker44
Yes, the A-48 is ideal for setting up fencing in any outdoor area. Please set up your fence perimeter by installing these fence posts, and then run your fence line between them.

Do you need the plastic insulators with these type of post? or can pool tape run right along them?

The center of this post is reinforced with a ribbed, steel I-beam, which is likely unable to be drilled through.
