Works well for drainage

Works well for me. I use it mixed into my soil for plants that need good drainage. Old trick taught to me by a plantsman years ago to allow those roots plenty of water/oxygen exchange without compaction. With drought tolerant plants to handle our short term droughts (apparently not happening this year!), my garden is water hose free. I've seen reviews that they had 3" rocks in it. I've bought several dozen bags now and for me, they are pretty consistently the same small rounded size, plus I'm always offered help loading. Beware of these particular bags though. Although the tops are very well sealed, rough handling can easily split the sides open.
