I used the J-B TankWeld Epoxy Putty to correct the weld failure. I used a pea sized amount to patty the clip to the stocking holder. The putty did the magic and I was able to use the stocking holder during the holiday season.

It is super easy to use and quick as well. I haven’t used it on any major projects but it worked nicely for securing a leak in a faucet (although it didn’t look pretty) as well as a chip on my grill that I wanted to seal so it wouldn’t get rusty. I just used gloves and rubbed it in between my fingers and then applied it firmly. Within an hour it was good to go! We will continue to use this in our household for plumbing fixes, fuel tank repairs, and gardening equipment.

This is easy to mix almost like playing with clay. All it takes is 5 minutes to harden and cures in an hour. It’s 4000 psi in strength after it hardens and cures. The epoxy putty works on all metal types and lasts a long time. Whether it’s just a leak or a break you will have no problem fixing it with this product. It’s a great price and worth every penny.
