- A: Our instructions state: "If installing on a hard surface such as a deck or patio, a flange post must be used and can be installed by simply mounting the hardware to the surface (screws/bolts not included with flange post). Q: Do you have a pdf version of directions on how to mount a deck post to the deck? Also do I need to buy additional hardware to mount these deck post to my deck? The hardware supplied with these deck post do not seem to be sturdy enough.
