The American Ground Screw Model 2 Post and Ground Pole Anchor is perfect for DIY projects of all varieties. The post anchor creates a secure connection to keep any poles stable in ground where concrete is not an option. The versatile design of the pole anchor is compatible with a large variety of pole thicknesses and types.

  • Post anchor easily mount posts up to 2-3/8 in. outer diameter
  • Installs in minutes and is immediately loadable for convenience
  • Includes cap and sleeve attachment to mount posts of various diameters
  • Securely anchor poles up to 18 in. deep without concrete
  • Length of the pole anchor is 21 in.
  • Great for hanging volleyball or badminton nets, chain link line post replacement, in-ground patio umbrellas, outdoor light fixtures, TV and radio antennas, flag poles, disc golf baskets, bird houses and feeders

Perfect for my clothesline tree!

My clothesline (Tree-type) didn’t come with any base. I looked at several ground-screw type bases at various online retailers; this one was exactly what I needed, with the adjustment collars, set screw and turn bar, all included. Now, no matter how heavy the laundry on any particular side, the clothesline tree is 100% stable and DOES NOT LEAN! VERY HAPPY!!!

What I was looking for.

I purchased this a few days ago to install a temporary pole with a solar, motion detection light (to keep away a skunk). Ordered online and shipped to store in a few days. Screwed into the yard after a rain, and it is solid and straight. I plan to purchase another.
