5 ft. Light Duty Fence Post, 90005 is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is a very light-duty fence post. These were purchased for staking tomato plants and mounting a trellis for cucumbers. Wooden stake rot quickly and are not a whole lot less expensive. I'm hoping to get a few seasons out of these before rust takes over. I would NOT recommend them for a serious fence intended to be in place for a number of years. Time will tell with regard to my use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Haven't used yet so review is based on appearance. I bought these posts to replace tomato cages I have used in the past. I plan to use wire between the posts and secure the tomatoes to the wire. I'm hoping the plant is more accessible this way.

What is the weight per foot?  Can’t really compare without full and similar specifications!

Asked by: greg8776
The manufacturer does not test this product for it's weight per foot. They advise it is a light duty T-post that is intended to be used with rolled wire fencing.

Is the length the total length of the post, or what would be out of the ground when driven to the proper length?

Asked by: BobbyGo
5' is the total length of the post.

I am interested in using these for a fruit tree espalier trellis in which I would run 3 single wires between two posts, secured by eye bolts and turnbuckles to tighten the wire over time. Does this seem possible? If so, what are the size of the holes?

Asked by: AClark1

Do you need a separate fastener for a rolled wire fence? Also, will this work for 4’ fencing?  Specifications don’t indicate how far it should be driven into the ground. Thank you

Asked by: Sjconline
The U Posts do include tabs that allow rolled fencing to be affixed. For added security we would recommend using a zip tie to affix the fencing. Posts should be driven into the ground to the top of the blade on the bottom.
