Q: Why is there no carburetor adjustment tool included with the newer 435e? And why is the tool a different size for the newer 435e than for the older ones? I also read that Husqvarna has discontinued the tool for the newer 435e. What gives?

A: Thank you for your question. EPA requirements state that the carburetor needle must be tamper proof and only adjusted by a licensed Dealer so the chainsaw stays within EPA emissions requirements. The previous adjustment tool was found on a third party website and the CARB deemed the carburetor no longer tamper proof. To correct this and to meet EPA requirements, we changed the geometry of the tool and the carburetor needle so the old tool will not work on the new models.

As it goes, went on sale 2 weeks after buying this

I still stole this prize winning piece of equipment for my residence. Taking pride in my investment have cleaned it everytime I'm done using it. Now, to learn how to sharpen the saw after dulling it by use. Seems it's the next saying, "Takes a licking and keeps on cutting". My words and kudos to them engineers that engineered such a great chain.

chain oil leaks oil out while sitting

I bought this saw in may of 2020 and used it 4 or 5 times to limb and such, it was fine for the first 3 or 4 uses then it started leaking the darn chain l oil out , I pooped the res. cap and still did it till all the oil leaked out. These things are supposed to be great and they are except for the auto oiler that won't stop when chain saw is shut down and it continues oiling. I had a McCullagh pro mac 50 that I bought in 1973 with an auto oiler with a plunger to feed more oil and it never leaked up till the engine blew 40 odd years later it bucked and was hard to start at times but nothing leaked, but this Husky has better tech but leaks oil when not in use, mind you it didn't leak til after 3 or 4 uses then shazam leaks like a race horse. The mac cost abought the same 50 years ago and ran with no leaks. Saw shop said that is natural , bunk to husky for building their saws with this flaw.
