The owner's manual for this unit recommends inspecting the fuel filter at least once a month and replacing as needed. Replacement for a 15 year old 435

I purchased the 440 to replace my (15 year old) 435. I have 3 acres of trees and needed a larger saw to help around the yard. Have used other saws but keep coming back to my Husky's.

poor quality

Bought a Husquavarna 440 torq, worst saw I have ever had almost impossible to start and if it does start it will not idle. I bought it to replace my 268 model which at age 80 is getting too heavy. I doubt if I have 15-20 hours on the 440 and may have to junk it out. Carborator is probably the main issue.

Great saw

Bought this saw the other day and cuts like butter. Has a 18 inch bar and was cutting trees that width. It cut through very fast. Easy to use and easy to start with the pump bulb. Recommend
