Better than my stihl

DO NOT BELIEVE THE PEOPLE WHO SAY THIS WON'T CUT. THEY PROBABLY DIDN'T CHARGE THE BATTERY. This is an amazing saw! My wife used this saw while I used my stihl ms250. I put a brand new chain on my stihl ms250 and her saw cut better than mine. My wife cut up a whole tree and limbed another one with this saw. It finally ran out of battery after an hour of use. I love this saw.

Do not buy! Box claims saw can do 100 cuts, in actual use, I got maybe 5 cuts before the battery died, either from running out of power, or over heating. This was being used in 50 deg weather, so it wasn’t ambient temperature that caused the battery to overheat. Also the automatic chain oiler did not work properly. I returned this to Tractor Supply and they did not give me any hassle about a refund. This was the only good thing about this experience. I also recommend to Tractor Supply to stop carrying this product in their stores, this is not the quality they should be aspiring to.

Unexpected Great Little Chainsaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned other Greenworks 60-volt tools, and they all work great, so I thought I would try the chainsaw. I owned smaller battery chainsaws; they worked, but were slow. The Greenworks chainsaw arrived. I plugged in the battery and went to test it; it worked excellently. As good as, if not better than, my small gas-powered chainsaw, but without all the starting problems. I cut branches between 9 & 10 inches like butter, could not believe it. Very Nice Chainsaw.

Poor Bar Design

I have about 2 hours of use time on the saw. Battery life is okay. Bar is poorly designed. Roller at end has too small of a diameter which leads to binding. The binding has caused a pinch in the chain which now has to be replaced. Will have to look into getting a proper aftermarket bar from Oregon. As is, the saw is more of a 2" diameter maximum branch size suburban homeowner type of saw.

Cuts great. Batteries are super expensive; I will go back to gas and oil because it is cheaper than batteries.
