I have never used a smoker before but this one is very easy to use. I fired it up and it stayed lit and making smoke the first time I tried it. It's great!

The smoker is easy to fill and easy to produce smoke for my hives. Leaves, twigs and burlap make great smoke products for the Harvest Lane Beekeeping Smoker.

I will start off by saying I am not an expert in these smokers. However, as I just bought this one and tried it out I felt the need to comment on it. The build seems decent. Everything was put together well. Everything about looking at it made me think it would be a good smoker. When I tried it out however, I found it leaked smoke in a number of spots around the lid. The lid itself does seal well as expected to the body, but the ring that attaches the lid to the very top pointed part of the smoker has two to three spots where it is not sealed well and leaks smoke out everywhere. My expectation of a smoker is when I squeeze it the only place smoke is coming out is the tip. However, on this one it creates its own cloud of smoke all around it because of the number of places the smoke comes out by the top cap. I haven't decided what I can do with it at this point but I can't believe this is normal for a smoker.

Only used this smoker for a few times now, so far it's been great!
