Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my third attempt to full protection The important point I would like to focus on are key if you have had any experience dealing with hives or bee swarms. The ability to completely seal yourself off from angry bees. The suit has excellent head, neck and face protection in that the screen cannot touch your skin. Yes, believe it or not, some suit designs are terrible in this department. The bees can sting right through the screen if your skin is in contact. I was attacked and surrounded by angry Africanized bees from a swarm we had removed from some property, I was literally chased and repeatedly stung through my other suit. A total of 21 stings and while I thought I was protected. This suit has the features needed to keep you safe. I also recommend a long sleeve shirt and long pants under it. Just in case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well made suit at a good cost. We are very pleased with the quality and price of our suits. We read reviews online and many said that the suits ran small so get a size larger than you usually take. I am usually a medium size so got the large and got a small for my wife. The large is very, very roomy on me, the small fits me better and still has a little room to spare. So, I wear the large and my wife wears the small and we look all baggy and wrinkly. But they keep the bees off. I will eventually get an extra small for my wife a wear the small for myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice loose fit. I like the integral head netting. I do recommend a hat inside to keep the netting away from the face.

Do you have to get a size larger to fit over your clothes or is that taken into consideration in the sizing?

Asked by: Romie
The manufacturer recommends ordering a size up.

I'm 5'0" tall, weigh about 117lbs, and am a male. Should I get the extra small or just small?

Asked by: Seabeebob
I would recommend staying with the small, in the case of beekeeping suits, a little bigger is better.

bush hogging a lot of undergrowth, weeds, vines, in/around tree stumps and large trees, meadow area. In spring/summer I may run my (walk behind) bush hogger over ground level nests. Will this suit protect against wasps, yellow jackets, etc?

Asked by: JoyB
Thank you for your question. It won’t completely protect you. But it will help.

Does this protect against yellow jackets, wasps, hornets, and carpenter bees in my backyard? I just want to be able to fill carpenter bee holes in my house with boric acid to kill whats in my house. Want to cut vines and not get stung my yellow jackets.

Asked by: munkygirl1
Thank you for your question. It will help but it will not completely protect you.
