- A: Hi, Here is the information we received from the vendor- "It is best to put them on top of the inner cover, leaving the hole for the bees to move through. Putting it in the doorway would prohibit the bees from coming in and out of the hive."2 years agoHelpful?

- A: Hi! You only need 1 patty per hive. They’ll last anywhere between 1 week to a month depending on the weather and what honey reserves the hive might have.3 years agoHelpful?

Q: After you remove the feed Pattie’s from the plastic bag, do you keep the covering on the Pattie’s or remove that too.? I only want to put 1 pattie in my hive not the whole package.

- A: Use 1 per hive Recommend 1 per hive Remove outer plastic leaving the parchment paper. Place the exposed directly onto the frames. Feed Late Fall through Mid-Late Spring or until the hive is bringing in sufficient pollen. If you choose to only use some of the patty you can store in a piece of parchment paper inside a plastic bag.3 years agoHelpful?

My bees love these!

I have 5 hives and my bees love these! I've bought other brands which the bees barely touched and dried out quickly. Tractor Supply is the cheapest place to buy these that I've found. Hard to find them in the stores, they usually sell out quickly. Easiest to buy them online and ship to store.
