- Dipping the blade in hot water between frames allows the blade to slice cleanly through the wax
- For even better efficiency, purchase two knives. Keep one in hot water and when the knife you are using cools, you can swap it with the warmed blade.
- Use a capping scratcher to open cappings you cannot reach with the knife.
