Buy a narrower shovel than your trench machine
19 days ago
Too wide and product info omits nominal sizes. I rented a trench machine the same width as this shovel and the shovel doesn't fit in the hole. I am not in charge of the rental company's sharpening schedule but obviously a smaller size shovel would be a better fit 99% of the time in retrospect, and that should have been stated on the package. I'm not waiting 10 days after the project start date for a half inch narrower shovel to be delivered. Easily the most frustrating purchase I've made in a long time. Since every rental place in the area uses the same width trench machine, this product is functionally useless. I would have appreciated a better description with the product since the first-time consumer is much more likely to make this oversight than the manufacturer.
No, I do not recommend this product.

It is okay, but would not recommend

Difficult to Use in hard dirt. No place to use your foot to get some leverage. Not impressed. Materials are excellent but this would only be appropriate in soft/tilled soil(s).
