The GroundWork 10 in. Steel Tamper is excellent for various yardwork jobs, such as laying down soil and tamping materials like stone, asphalt and gravel. Very sturdy and does what it's meant to do but it sounds like there is something loose rattling inside the handle. I'm not sure if it's supposed to do that or it's just the one I got. Otherwise would get 5 stars instead of 4.

20 POUNDS, it's the best!!

20 POUNDS!! This is a beast. Most brands are like 10 pounds, most don't even list their weight...Kobalt, Husky, Dewalt ect. After feeling all back to back I without a doubt bought the GroundWork 10" 20-lb tamper. It is invaluable for smaller jobs, but you WILL get a upper body workout!
